Rising Star Cricket

The kids at Rising Star have been playing cricket during their Play Time at school.  Cricket is usually played on a oval field 360 degrees.  The pitch is a rectangular area where the bowler pitches the ball to the batter.  There are three posts called stumps that are hammered into the ground and together they are called a wicket.

Knocking one of the stumps over is a way to get an out as seen below.

Rising Star Cricket is not played on a oval field and is played more in a triangle. The pitch is the right edge and everything to the left of the batter is in play.

The bowler throws the ball. Naveen is using a tennis ball here.

Then it is hit.  If the batter and runners decide to run they score points by running the length of the pitch as many times as they can.

Kids here are Rising Star both work and play hard.
